Will 28mm hose work

Just a quick question

Im in the process of buying all my parts for my cold side relocation

I know the dump valve connections are 25mm

My friend has a metre of flex hose which is the wire reinforced stuff he said i could have for free but its 28mm

would 28mm hose work if it was clamped down super tight?

Can't see why not, as long as the hose is clamped tight and there are no leaks, it should be fine

should do its 1.5mm all the way round bigger but if you tighten it properly should be ok.

that should be good then, should save me £30

trial fitted it to the t-piece earlier and its quite loose but seems to tighten quite well

guess ill just try it and see if i have any leaks
