Will a straight through exhaust affect my map?

Hi folks, basically I have a remapped mk1 fr tdi 150, the car is standard and was thinking of fitting a turbo back exhaust. It was dyno'd last year at 196bhp and 314ft/lb, will doing this have any affect on that or will I just get the better sound I'm after.

just get the map tweaked/checked to be sure...

Boost control is the thing that needs checking, make sure there are no nasty spikes on initial spool. Bit of VCDS logging will confirm this. Other than that you don't NEED a map adjustment. There may be a small amount to be gained if you did, but it's not a necessity

Think I might just leave it be,the exhaust I can do myself but am not getting in to the hassle of getting someone to check other stuff out.

Would just a mufflerectomy and keeping the cat in place be okay or still scope for trouble?

Could anyone who maps check it or if it's a revo map would it have to be them?
