Hi all, i have a little issue after changing some parts on my Leon cupra 1.8t, right now I've currently got a piper cross panel filter homed in the standard airbox, I recently changed all the boost pipes etc on Friday to the upgraded silicone hoses. All was well Friday night after. Then this morning I changed the side mount intercooler to a bigger capacity sidemount. Now when I'm underload on boost I get a small vibration and what seams like a induction grunt noise from the n/s area but it sounds more like its struggling for the air it needs. I've got it mapped with a cat back system but I'm starting to wonder if the standard airbox with panel filter is restricting the amount of air it needs underload...? But I've also heard the 1.8t engines don't like cone filters.. Any advise would be much appreciated, thanks.
