Hi there,

seen a lovely set of ibiza cupra/leon fr 17" alloys for sale and wondered if i get them will it kill off the acceleration of the car? (no comments about it having none in the first place!) also what other downsides are there? i presume they fit ok? 5 stud etc etc. possible arch rubbing at the front? running 20mm spacers on the rear currently. any advice will be appreciated. thanks you very much

If you use low profile tyres to keep the circumference the same (which you should to keep the speedo accurate) then they won't make any difference to the acceleration.

The size won't, the extra weight will make a difference, couldn't tell you whether or not it will be noticeable though.
