hi well ive managed to download the version off vagcom off a torrent site so all i need now is a cable to connect it to my laptop??? is this right? and will this 1 work? and ive also been on the ross tech website.... if the vag com i downloaded doesnt work as many torrent downloads dont which 1 will i be looking at downloading off the ross tech website... thanks

no mate i havnt bought the cable yet but i downloaded the software... now all i need is a cable to connect it to a laptop

the software on the rosstech site will work with the ebay cables, you have to manually set your comm-port; and then purchase a license from rosstech for £50. not bad compared with dealer costs.
