I have just replaced the offside window lifter on my ALtea/Toledo 2L 2007 I am told by the Seat Garage that they replace a lot of these due to the cable rubbing on the sharp metal frame. Has anyother member come across this problem. I have written to Seat in Spain(see below) and they have come back to me saying that they are going to investigate the problem and get back to me. I am trying to get Seat to help me with the cost of replacing the window lifter (£250) as it was not fit for purpose when it was manufactured. Any feed back from the forum would be helpful. aggie
