hi folks,
recently (3rd of August) picked up a 2011 ST sport tech 170, loving the car, big change from my 2003 pd130 Ibiza.
but yesterday on the way home i attempted to use the screen wash and wipe some bugs off the screen --- nothing!
i assumed it would be simply a blown fuse, but all fuses look fine, and replaced 36 & 37 to be sure, still no change.
affecting front and rear wipers and washers, no noises when switch them on (tried with both engine running and just ignition on)
also read on here that wipers could be disabled (maybe on other Seats) if the bonnet is open, so ensured the bonnet and all doors shut securely.
not sure if it related, but also discovered yesterday i have the same symptoms as http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=295546
fog lights not switching on from the light switch (front fogs work fine from coming home function, so not the bulbs on the front at least)
anyone any ideas?? a relay somewhere?
is it probable the two issues are related?
lucky for me it was dry yesterday, i will be heading back to the garage at lunchtime, but wanted to see if there were any simple things i could try first (used direct, so not SEAT, but Toyota and Renault dealer)

could well be, i think it is also a bit more believable than a broken wire.
