Does anyone have any experience with the wiring loom for a 1.9tdi MAP sensor?
I recently bought a front mount cooler and the wiring loom aparently needs to be extended by about 150mm. I am comfortable with soldering new wires into the look but I've no idea what size of cable to use. (Diameter/resistance, etc)

I've done a search but nothing really answers my question!

I know a few people on here have experience in soldering looms but I can't remember off my head who it was:think:

Just try and match the current wire. Without having looked at one, they're not high current, so 0.5mm^2 cable will be fine.

Cheers mate, knew it was small but wasn't sure if I should go with 16strand or 32. Might just stick with 16 strands and see how it goes.
Was only asking as I've had problems with my temp control and if I muck up the readings of the MAP sensor by using wrong cable then I will be up the creek haha

Strand count is not really a measure of cable CSA. It's more about how flexible the cable is. 16 thick strands will give a bigger cable than 32 tiny strands.
