Wiring problems, who to go to?

After 6 months of hell and bills, 2 new steering racks, 2 new PAS sensors, and a new pump, i have found out the problem is (hopefully) the wiring. There is "lack of continuation" according to MK SEAT.

I just want to get peoples opinon quickly:

Do i take the car to Seat garage, and pay the £87/hr labour rates, and get it done properly OR do i take it to any auto electric place, and get them to do it for cheaper?

Just want to get some opinions really. What would you do? I think the job is to strip most of the wiring and look for some breaks in wires, which will be a half day at SEAT.

I want to get it fixed, but if its a job that an auto electrics can get done for cheaper, i rather take it there than spend ~£450 at the dealer.

What would you do?

Thanks.

best to take it to a dealer to be honest, that have all correct wiring digrams and can carry out the basic settings reqd once its fixed rather than an auto sparky dabbling with it with little info or diag equipment
