Well folks wish me luck.

That time of year has come, yes the MOT.

My car is going in tomorrow to get it dont. Im hoping that everything goes to plan and it passes with no problems.

I will update the 'group' tomorrow as soon as i get the car back and find out any problems!

good luck mate, mine fialed on front wheels rubbing inner arches, headlight aim, and rear tyres fouling bodywork. sorted it all within an hour, got it back and restested for free and she passed

mine failed today

7 failures and 6 advisories, the failures were:
Offside and nearside headlights aimed wrong
Both top mounts need tightening
Rear passenger wheel bearing needs tightening
No car horn (steering wheel lol)

mine also faield on offside side light now working.... well it does work if you have the ignition on lol!

thats the main bulb on low current

mines passed 1st time, no advisories.

They did ask about the stretched tyres but i fobbed them off with the excuse that the design 90 porsche wheels have a lip as standard

Well the inevitable happened!!

Well it happened and my car failed its mot

2 Failures:

Rear driverside strut is leaking
Something wrong with the handbrake.

The handbrake is no problem but i need advice on the suspension issue.

I have 2choices:

Put my old suspension on until i can get hold of a new strut.

Or wait until i can get a new strut.

The second option would mean that im without my car until i get the new strut and i could also have problems getting the strut.

Think i will just whack the old suspension back on for the time being!!
