Booked car in to have a temp senser checked out and the fact the car is smoking alot!!!

Phoned them to ask if car was ready to pick up at 1645 on wed, oh sorry mr savage the car is on the ramp having the turbo taken out to check for leakes,
so next day ring again this time at 1300 to see if it is ready Oh sorry mr savage we are waiting for a coolent bottle to turn up!!! Finally pick my car up today friday
and the drivers side winscreen wiper is siting hi on the winscreen when they are in the off postion. When i turn them on the driver wiper now makes a knocking noise as it get in to the upright postion.

Yer thanks seat, Can't beive they nerver phoned me once to say we need to keep the car over night, SO SO SH*T i won't be going back to them any more.
Aprt for them to fix my bloody window whiper

VW Rescue also - specialist VW/SEAT/Audi/Skoda independent, now based in Wombourne near Wolves. Definately worth a try. SEAT in Wolves managed to screw up something as simple as car mats for me - won't be taking my car near them EVER.

faintree skoda in bridgnorth are pretty good,should be able to cover SEAT warranty stuff i think.

Cheers I'll keep an eye out for that. We had a Type-R with them and we couldn't fault the service.

barlows wolverhampton

As Ive only just purchased my leon cupra r i have had no previous experience of barlows wolverhampton altough my friend also has a cupra r and is not a fan due to a couple of incidents. but I was willing to give them a try.
i was in need of a paint touch up pen not a tricky item i thought having worked in the motor industry for a few years i though i would be helpful and supply the paint code. easy i thought ! so into the parts counter i walked to be met by a couple of assistants one of which acknowledged me a stared to serve me but half way through walked off ! to where i don't know perhaps my request was below him who knows? so i waited patiently and waited and waited for about 30 minutes until id had enough and requested my paint pen from the other guy who after taking my paint code told me they don't sell paint!!! and i should try halfords!!! how on earth are these people a main dealer?
if i can t be supplied a bloody paint stick I'm definitely not trusting these people with anything else so I'm off to vw on the bilston rd who are more than happy to help me with a lot more professionalism.

Almost but were bought out recently now in private hands .If you have any problems got into sales and ask to see Mark " new owner" he will sort it his own money now that they are loosing

But it will take a while for customers to regain confidence.

Yea my local seat dealer is Seat Wolverhampton. Before i got my car they tryed to sell me a chill in rubbish condition for nearly £4k!
They are a little silly there but i am going to take mine and my dads test drive of the new ibiza from them although i already drove a new one but its just another hour isnt it at the end of the day.

Having another moan about this garage yet again. They are utter tripe! Took the ecomotive in november at the end of the month to have some paint work done and a whistle from the wing mirror. They claimed on the day that they can not stop the whistle even though i told them if says on here its a reseal job. They said they would phone me a week after to tell me what is going on with the car. I didnt get a call so i called them, they told me that the systems were being switched over or some crap like that, still didnt phone so i called them yesterday and they have no idea so their aftersales manager is suppose to be calling me today but i doubt very much that it will happen. This garage is terrible.

I cant recommend midland vw enough, for parts theyll normally have it in the next day if they havent got it in stock. They can get OEM parts or gsf if you want for exactly the same prices.

I do most of my own work but have gone down on numerous occasions to have the car on vag com and a timing belt replace on my 02 polo.

ive used seat wolverhampton once for some parts, the parts guy was a complete ****** and totally useless!

all of the sales people are tools. lol, brought 1.4tdi new through them returned a year later for a new fr and they didnt wanna know, so i went kidderminster and brought 2 FR's (one got wrote off - not my fault). im expecting them to go bump soon. kidderminster is very good, bend over backwards for you

I went to Barlows when i first considered SEAT, told the guy there I might be interested, but wasnt sure on the price, I clearly told him, if I was interested, i would give him a call back.

I went to work that evening, got home, to find a note saying he had called the house 6 times that night !

I think i might give the kiddy dealers a try when service time comes.

never used them for service but been good on 2 minor warrenty niggles with the car, sorted very quickly. what area do you live if you dont mind me askin
