wont start

1995 cordoba clx 1598cc petrol
Trouble was while running would conk out, turning ignition off the on would start running again, did this for some time, then it just will not start now, had recently replaced air filter, and given it a small service(oil,plugs, air filter, etc.)
i am thinking maybe the fuel filter but not that up on the seat's, any help or info would be much appreciated, thank you in advance

try the ECU control relay.... £11 from VW....

part number: 165 906 381

fixed a very similair problem on my old 1.6 Cordy

it's the one with '30' on the top, on your fuse board under the steering wheel

if its not the ecu relay

then it could be the coil pack is faulty mine went once and if used to rev up and down and splutter and cut out

you could also check the throttle body is clean remove air filter box and get some carb cleaner and clean up by holding open the throttle.


I have a 1994 cordoba clx with gti interior that i'm going to be breaking if you need parts mate
