Wont start

Hi i have a seat Cordoba 1999 and it will not start very annoying been trying now for 3 days but if i pour petrol down throttle body it will start and then die i can also hear fuel being pushed through the fuel lines so fuel pump is working just seems like the injector inst opening

o ya its a 1.8i

as a bit of help i would check your fuel regulator get a friend with you pull the pipe off just AFTER the regulator then turn the key if nothing comes out theres your problem. had the same issue with my mk2 and my polo was that problem hope it helps !

Fixed faulty injector replaced it and it fired up straight away whoohoo

And nuked_pink_doba if it wasnt for your help about the regulator i dont think i would of looked around that area

I took the cap off the injector and used a test light to test the + terminal on it and it had power i also tested the - for ground and it was fine 2 so could only be one thing wrong bloody injector
