WOO-HOO!! I got myself a cupra exhaust.

I paid 60 qiuid for it, it may be alittle to much but once i placed a bid i had to have it!! Still works out cheaper than the backbox that i was considering, it was 117 quid on its own

Heres a pic of what im getting

Autosol's pretty abrasive, it can scratch some metals if used too hard or too much.

I still use Brasso, its cheap as chips and works very well.

youll need to cut the pipe which comes off the centre silencer which joins to the cat a bit and get a reducer welded on as the cupra is 54mm(i think) and the 1.4 smalller but i cant remeber the size of it

I saw this on the bay as well. Was going to bid when it was £15 and came back, saw it was £50 odd and thought bugger that for a second hand exhaust!!

Ah well. I'm sure its all good! I'm still liking my diesel type exhaust though, especially if it wasn't blowing!!
