Ambitious Spanish car maker SEAT is once again putting its weight fully behind the British International Motor Show with a thrilling world debut. The car guaranteed to turn heads at ExCeL is the stylish new Ibiza SportCoupé which goes on sale here on 1st October.

I'm sorry but it is still not doing it for me. It looked so promising at the prototype stage but that is just dull and the front quarter view looks really awkward. Coupled with the pointless shoulder at the back and that hateful curved swage line, carried over from the Leon etc., it just doesn't work for me.

The only interesting touches on the interior turn out to be accessories which may or may not be available anyway.

I give it five out of ten.

Looks like a mini Ford Focus. SEAT are hardly ambitious when nearly all of their current range all look the same - a real genius came up with that!
