You follow the 306 in front over a speed bump at the same speed and loose your spine!!

Any sort of rain or water spilling onto the seats leaves lovely stains
You gotta take the whole rear light fittings out to replace one stinking little bulb (used to have an MK2 and was much easier to replace bulbs on that)
The fuel gauge guesses as to the amount of fuel actually in the tank
You see more of them at home, than when you're on holidays in spain.
My 1.2 sounds like a diesel when starting it
Doesn't do to well in ice (recently busted steering control arm colliding with a kerb when car skidded, doing about 5mph!)
You would definately buy another one (I've only ever owned ibizas)
When you go on holidays and rent a car, you check if the rental place has one
You feel damn proud when you're driving it

The cost of £145 for new Track rod, track rod end, labour & tracking alignment for me.

Yup we were talking about it in another thread :)

Edit: You know you have an MK4 when you want to bring it with you if you're emigrating

... When your car has barely 29k miles on the clock and it needs to have the camchain tensioner done.
Naturally the camchain tensioner is not even mentioned in the service program, so it is supposed to last the whole lifetime of the car.

The 2 year warranty period has expired and no goodwill gesture from the main dealer is expected.
So I´ll recon the normal lifetime for a Seat engine is about 29k miles

I was quoted 1250£ for the job (parts + labour).

Whiskey time
