You know you have a MK4 Ibiza when...

i used to get well annoyed at passengers having to pull the handle twice to get out so i had that disabled and i hated the fact it locked me in with that feature switched on too so it killed to birds with one stone.
it cant be safe being locked in the car by the car what if the worse happens and you crash and your unconcious people try to get you out quickly as the car is on fire makes things take longer.

Buy a Diesel.. it doesnt explode like petrol does

You can drop a lit match in a puddle of diesel and it wont ignite.

Have to agree with Cupra.al

About a year ago now, a bloke lost consciousness whilst driving down the road I live on, and he ended up hitting a kerb at the lights and rolled it. It was a Hyundai i10. He was still unconscious after the accident. He also nearly drove into a school kid on his bike who was waiting at the lights. That would have made the news.

And you know what... if the silly auto lock/unlock hadn't been enabled, the crash wouldn't have happened, because I'd have pulled up him out the car before he crashed (it was obvious something was wrong, he was throthing at the mouth, his car in neutral yet bouncing off the rev limiter whilst the lights were on red). I and my dad tried pulling him out of his car while it was stationary, but couldn't because he was locked in.

Anyway back to the Ibizas...

In the event of the accident all doors will unlock, Regardless of front/back/boot.

It should unlock if the airbag computer tells it to (even if the airbag isn't deployed it should sense the impact).

I was also told that it's supposed to happen when it the car leaves the ground while moving...

...but speaking from experience that doesn't happen

When you press the unlock on the key remote once and it only unlocks the drivers side so your passenger looks like a tit not being able to get in the car, good thing for when the misses pisses you off.

Passengers who think there cool when they piss about with the adjuster on there seat.

Same as everyone else:

Pulling the handle twice
Washer popped off
Condensation
