basically my reasons for buying the ibiza . . the polo was costing me a fortune, by the time i paid the finance, insurance, tax blah blah . . ! then i was lucky to get the MPG into the low 30's, which is a bit shite!!! so i got the astra with the intention of running it cheaply and having a bit of fun . . but i hated it! so que the ibiza, all the comfort and luxuries of the polo but at a fraction of the cost. And i haven't looked back since :D

2. Renault Clio 1.2
3. Ibiza Cupra

I got attracted to the Cupra because there use to be a black one that kicked about and i loved the way it looked i remember playing football and it just turned my head then saw this pop up so me and my mate went to look at it and from the moment i first saw it i fell in love with it!

Ok here it goes, its a long list and not all good!! so please don't fall asleep
Starting at the age of 16 (the luck of passing my test in the isle of man)
Fiesta 1.1 - Gold

Escort 1.4 - Blue

Citroen AX GT - White

Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI - Red (Written off by me)

Nova 1.2 - Burgandy

Mondeo Estate 2.0 - Black

Primera SI - 1.6 Green

Cougar 2.0 - Blue

Suzuki Vitara 1.6 - Gold (Lived in Cyprus so needed a 4x4 for taking jetski to the beach)

Renault Scenic 4x4 2.0 - Green (For the jetski)

Vauxhall Vectra 2.5 v6 - Blue

Yamaha DT 125 (for the scramble course by my house in Cyprus)

Seat Leon Cupra 1.8T - Red

Peugeot 306 1.6 - Red

Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 SXI - Green

Mitsubishi L200 2.5 - Blue

Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI - Silver

Renault Megane 1.4 - Silver

Fiat Seicento 1.1 - Green

Saab 9-3 Convertible 2.0 T - Blue

Skoda Fabia VRS 1.9 TDI - Red

Collect 08 plate Ibiza FR TDI 1.9 - Grey on Wednesday

Some of the time I have had 2 cars at a time, the car values vary due to changes in circumstances as I have moved around a lot with the military. Reason for the Ibiza I like my Fabia and think it will be similar. Saab costs too much to run for a commuting lifestyle. Missus has a 56 mile round trip and I have an 80 mile round trip hence having 2 diesels makes sense but are still fun.

Mines pretty small:

1998 'R' Reg Ford Fiesta LX 1.25

That was suprisingly nippy, my god the clutch was fierce as hell when it came to biting point and wanted to change gear as soon as you pulled off. had about 80k on the clock when i sold it. Pretty good car (especially for a first) No pics i'm afraid

2003 '52' Reg SEAT Ibiza S MK4 1.2

When I bought this I wanted a nice looking car that was reliable, wasnt too big, which wasnt common and stood out. After oohing and ahhing about a puma I really liked the look of the MK4 Ibiza and after checking out the great reviews I pretty much was sold on one. Now I don't regret it at all, i'm pretty sure my next few cars will be SEATs too. I love my MK4, only letdowns are the rattles and the lack of power but that will change when I get a MK4 FR/Cupra for my next car:D

First car aged 17 was a mk4 6n polo. Was a 1.6 8v, 75hp, pistachio green and 5 door. Sounds awful but i loved it! Snapped the exhaust on it, clutch cable and cambelt :| So when i sold it it had new exhaust clutch cable, newly rebuilt top end etc so new owner got a bargain!

Got a job where the office is 28 miles from my home, wasnt 100% sure on what wage id be on as an apprentice so just got a fairly cheap small engined car (as i was only 18 and insurance was daft) and polo was quite thirsty for its lack of power!

Never really felt much for that car, was too slow and a god awful colour for an 18 year old lad, so 6 months later i flogged it on and bought the first car i had proper wanted, rather than settling for:

Bought completly standard and spent a fair whack on it in my year of ownership, i know corsas wont be appreciated much on here but this thing was class. Still be 18 and work been a 56 mile a day commute, was costing too much on a modded 1.8 petrol car so saw this and fell in love:

had this 4-5 months now and think ill be keeping this one to be honest, awsome cars! Now looks like this:

I just love your FR scott, the candy white is an amazing colour. When i get my next SEAT it will have to be one like yours, though finding a candy white ibiza is quite a rarity

Now the FR, which I bought after hitting diesel on a slip road in the Corsa and spinning out, subsequently writing it off:

scott mine is in for service on friday too lol
and yours still looks good chino, whats up with ccuk havent been able to get on in days

anyways my car list

i had a ford courier van when i passed my test (wrote that off)

then got a silver corsa c which ended up looking like this, loved that car but 242,000 miles took its toll
Picture003-1.jpg

parts009.jpg

then i went to the kandy white ibiza (i was told by seat uk it was the first one in the country in white)
and i believe from what im told is the only kandy white fr with factory fit xenons, not doin anything to the bodywork as i like it maybe lower it but ive heard stories of knocking like mad and i cba with that tbh so its just engine mods for me according to raclogic performance box it does 0-60 in 6secs which aint bad for a diesel fr in fact had some fun with a member on here called luke with a silver lcr (thread in spotted section) think he was suprised!!!!

at the dealers when i heard she arrived
scoobyslayer2.jpg

scoobyslayer.jpg

then when i got her home (picked it up at 6pm a few days later) in mid november
whitelightning003.jpg

whitelightning004.jpg

and a quick 0-60 video on a private runway according to racelogic performance box it was a 6 second dead sprint

and because i dont want to ruin the ibiza because i rly rly rly love the car best car ive had
ive got a corsa z20let 2litre turbo which is in bits at the min but should be back on the road in about 2-3 weeks
