zero / low boost

hi guys iv just managed to get a boost gauge fitted to me car and iv been havin a problem with the reving when am going for it will stick at cernt revs and wont move when it does this noramaly around 3k rpm the bost gauge is showing zero boost, if i lift of and put foot down again boost's up and and it revs as normal, also iv noticed only boosting to around 14psi at a spik then down to liek 7 psi but some time in 3rd and 4th will boost to 18psi and hold then drop down after 5 half to like 14. it is suposed to be revod so what boost should i realy be seeing.

its in limp mode mate, sounds like a problem with your MAF and/or your N75 valve

if you dont have any diagnostic software try your local revo dealer, which for you i think is ADS in Preston.

iv had it to awesome gti they had it on vag com and couldent find any errors apart from colant temp sensor which they changed.

only get the problem every now and then not all time though

you put any other modifications on it, or is it standard mechanically?

its got stainless steel center seciton on exhuast forge dv jetex pannle filter the boost gauge and the remap
