Best map for a cupra 290 2016

I would like to get a stage 1 remap for my cupra and would like to know the best best company I could go with and where does remapping near Ashford in kent?

the three mainstream maps that are used on this site are Revo, APR & new boy Racingline

All offer good power and you should also consider DSG Map if you have one or Clutch Upgrade if manual.

I chose Revo as they were near me at the time and all three get good feedback for power and reliability.
There are lots of others but these are the guys I would use.

No but if you go into the various company sites they have a dealer location.

Or do a google search REVO DEALER ASHFORD, APR DEALER ASHFORD Etc

Thank you, was hoping someone on here would be from the same area roughly and had it done so I know if there a trust worthy garage.

What about MTM.
I saw cupra 290 st with MTM logo on the rear lead few days ago. I know they are doing dicent job (at least with audi), so I guess it worth to google it for local representator

I use E-Tuners on my Cupra for both engine and DSG maps. Excellent tuner and Statller ( E-Tuner dealer) are just 5 miles away from me and give excellent service. ( Based in Sheffield ).
Currently running 470bhp at stage 3 (dotted line in the dyno run)

Hi I have just had my Cupra 280 stage 1 engine and gearbox tuned at S line Automotive in Ashford.
The guy seemed fine to me, dropped me and the mrs off at the designer outlet while he did the tune and picked us back up when it was completed. Think it took about 2hrs
Don't know if its still on offer but a couple of weeks ago when I had mine done APR had a sale on. Think it cost me £1200 for the engine and gearbox remap.
I'm just in Gillingham, send me a message if you have any other questions

Firstly sorry for jumping on to your post but i am interested in doing a stage 1 remap for my 1.4 TSI (125), Celtic tuning are close to me (Glasgow) and offering a good jump in bhp and torque (£350). I see some of you have done this to your vehicle, some questions

Would a normal dealer service find this and if so what are their actions if found ?
Is your warranty cancelled if found ?
Does your insurance jump by much ? i could handle for eg £100 /£10 PM

Firstly my understanding is if you car is connected to Dealer Systems then it will flag up your car has been mapped and if there are any issues with the engine / drivetrain then you will not be covered.

Warranty is not cancelled just when you make a claim for engine or transmission, so if you have problems with your lights or radio should be fine, but if they will look for other mods if the car has been flagged.

Insurance - talk to your insurance company, each car is different but from memory for me it was not a show stopper.

Never taken my car to main dealer so cant say for sure but in general the answer would be no unless they are making changes to the Firmware in which case it may (have not seen many post's on this on recent cars) but in any event any decent mapping company should remap for a small fee.
